Method

1. Set up your factor tree

2. Start with 1 and the number itself

3. Check if the number is a multiple of 2s, then 3s, then 4s etc.

4. When you reach the factor already on the right of a pair stop


Common factors

1. Write your factor trees for each number

2. Circle any numbers that are in both factor trees
