ARITHMETIC HUB TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law. When using our Service, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. As a parent, you also consent to the processing of your child’s data according to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
3. Our Service
Our Service is the provision of Learning Materials suitable for primary school children in Key Stage 2 (ages 7 to 11). Our Learning Materials are aligned to the National Curriculum for Mathematics as set by the Department for Education in England. Our Service may be used by teachers, tutors, parents or guardians.
Learning Materials are accessed via our Website located at our specified web address. Our Learning Materials include:
· maths calculations,
· training videos and written guidance and
· other educational information for maths lessons.
4. Transfer of rights and obligations
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions to another organisation. Such transfer will not affect your rights under the contact. If we intend to transfer our rights and obligations, we will notify you in writing.
You may not transfer the benefit of the contract or any rights under it unless we have given you the express right to do so in writing.
5. Security of account details
You must treat any user identification code or password required to access our Services as confidential and must not disclose it to any third party. We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.
If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your user identification code or password you must promptly notify us.
6. How you may use our Learning Materials
Arithmetic Hub is the owner and licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Website, and the Learning Materials published on it. Our Website and Learning Materials are protected by copyright law. All such rights are reserved.
You may download and print our Learning Materials from our Website. If you print, copy, or reproduce any of our Learning Materials, you must not hide, delete or detach any part of the document that shows the Arithmetic Hub copyright notice or our company logo.
The extent of reproduction of our Learning Materials is strictly limited to that necessary for the purpose of teaching within the school or organisation that has registered and paid for our Services. If you are a teacher or tutor, you may share our Learning Materials with your pupils, but you must not share our Learning Materials with any third party outside your school or registered organisation. If you are a parent or guardian, you may share our Learning Materials only with the children you are responsible for.
You must not modify the paper or convert digital copies into other formats of any of our Learning Materials you have printed or downloaded in any way. You must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text. Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of our Learning Materials must always be acknowledged.
You must not use any part of our Website or Learning Materials for commercial purposes without first obtaining a licence from us.
If you print, copy, download or use any information from our Website in breach of these terms of use, your right to use our Service will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the information you have made.
7. Reliance on our Learning Materials
Our Learning Materials are designed to complement the resources necessary to fulfil the curriculum requirements established by the relevant education authority and the school. We recognise that children have different levels of knowledge and learning ability, even within the same year group. When using our Service, it is your responsibility to ensure that the Learning Materials selected are suitable for each child. If you are a parent or guardian, you are advised to consult your child’s school before using our Service.
Our Learning Materials have been prepared by suitably qualified and experienced persons exercising reasonable care and skill. However, we do not promise that our Learning Materials are entirely free from errors or omissions. If you find any errors or omissions, you should immediately notify us by providing details.
8. Pricing plans
Users of our Service may pay for a monthly or yearly subscription. Details of our pricing plans are provided on our Website. Payment for all subscriptions is required before the commencement of our Services.
All subscriptions commence with an initial payment term (“Initial Term”). After the Initial Term, the subscription renews automatically until cancelled. No credit or debit card details are stored by the Arithmetic Hub.
9. Cooling off period
You may cancel your subscription within fourteen days of payment for the Initial Term. Provided you have not commenced using our Service, we will fully refund your subscription cost by crediting the amount back to your original payment method. Once the refund is processed, your access to our Service will be terminated. Please allow up to 14 days for the refund to be completed.
10. Excluded services
Accessing our Website and Learning Materials requires electronic devices and internet connectivity. Users are responsible for providing and paying for appropriate electronic devices and connection to the internet.
11. Access and availability of the Arithmetic Hub
Access to our Learning Materials will be available shortly after we have received your payment. While we endeavour to provide prompt access, there may be occasions where delays occur due to technical issues or other unforeseen circumstances.
Arithmetic Hub is an internet-based service. We aim to ensure that our Website and Learning Materials are available when you need them. However, we do not promise that the availability of our Website and Learning Materials will be uninterrupted. We may also carry out scheduled maintenance from time to time.
If you encounter any issues accessing our Learning Materials, please contact our support team. We aim to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.
12. Third party websites
Our Website may contain links to third-party websites or platforms that are necessary for you to access in order to use our Services. We are not responsible for these third-party websites.
13. Links to the Arithmetic Hub website
You may provide a link on your website or e-learning platform to our home page, provided you do so in a way that does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it. 14. Applicable law
The contract between Arithmetic Hub and you is governed by the law of England and Wales and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Limitation of liability
Our maximum liability to you will not exceed the greater of £1.00 (one pound) and the total amount paid by you in one calendar year. Our liability to you for indirect or consequential loss is zero.
16.Termination
We reserve the right to withdraw our Website and access to our Learning Materials at any time.
If withdrawal is for reasons other than your breach of the contract or your fault, we will refund an amount proportionate to the unexpired portion of your subscription, calculated on a pro-rata basis of the payment made for that subscription period.
