Square and cube numbers

1. Square numbers = a number multiplied by itself eg. 3 x 3 or 4 x 4.

42 = 4 x 4 = 16

 2. Cube numbers = a number multiplied by itself twice eg. 3 x 3 x 3 or 4 x 4 x 4

43 = 4 x 4 x 4 = 64

3. Find the value of the square or cube numbers before answering the multiplication
